Somatic Sexology

In a world where sex education hasn’t been a priority, there is a lot of unlearning to do when it comes to accessing pleasure in bodies. Somatic Sexology is a trauma informed healing modality that supports students/clients in accessing and/ or expanding pleasure in their bodies using touch, sound, movement, breath and interoception (internal noticing) that they may not otherwise have the space or ability to do on their own in everyday life.

How many times has someone touched you in a way you didn’t like and you tolerated it? How many times have you gotten distracted during sex or masturbation and are unable to focus? How often have you gone searching for pleasure in an interaction and been unable to find any? Somatic Sexology is a non-judgemental space for all these questions to unfold, and where our students get to prioritise themselves and their pleasure without the added confusion of another person who is also trying to make it about them.

Teaching modalities are varied and may include mindful practices of breath, touch, body, genital and anal awareness, work with consent and boundaries, erotic massage, scar tissue remediation and masturbation coaching. It may support with discovering greater presence in the body, pleasure as well as the release of shame and other issues that may interfere with embodied pleasure.

The discoveries experienced during somatic sex education are likely to carry over into many areas of life.

Time lavishly devoted to an erotic adventure is a testament to its importance...

There’s no menu service in Somatic Sexology. A learning objective is brought forward by you, the student, through an initial intake form and a free consultation over Zoom. We then co-create Educational Contracts that are carried out in the sessions. Sessions can be done in person in my clinic in Glasgow, or online via Zoom. I ask of each student for at least a 3 month commitment period to the work.

All sessions are 100% client led. No two sessions are ever the same. As a student you will need to be able to navigate your own arousal outside partner-engagement and set attraction aside to be fully present to your own somatic experience.

Each session lasts up to two hours. Initial discovery calls run for 45-60minutes and are free of charge. You can schedule a call by using the button below, you will also receive an intake form upon request. Do not hesitate to send a message if you need more information either. Existing clients can book their appointments using their client codes.
